United We Stand: A National Strategy to Prevent Scams

Introduction and Overview

In 2024, Aspen FSP convened the National Task Force on Fraud and Scam Prevention, uniting more than 80 institutions and 300 experts from across industry and law enforcement to build a national strategy.

Their work culminated in United We Stand: A National Strategy to Prevent Scams, which called for a whole-of-ecosystem approach to combat the cross-sector threat that fraud and scams pose to U.S. households and national security.

The Task Force has since completed its work, laying the foundation for the Scam Prevention Initiative carried forward today.
